What does the job look like?
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in producing timely and accurate financial information, supporting business decision-making, and driving continuous improvement. You'll work closely with operations, accounting, and management teams to deliver insightful analysis and support strategic initiatives.
Key areas:
* Prepare weekly and monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and general ledger reconciliations
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
* Conduct financial and operational reporting and analysis
* Assist with the development of commercial and pricing models for new business opportunities
* Lead KPI reporting and detailed data analysis to support continuous improvement
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure effective revenue capture, billing, and management of debtors and creditors
* Assist with statutory and tax reporting requirements
* Maintain strong relationships with internal customers and respond promptly to requests

* Prior experience within the Logistics/Transport industry within a similar role
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting
* CA or CPA qualification
* Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, and SAP
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
