About the Role
We are looking for a senior IT Infrastructure and Security Administrator to be the primary onshore technical lead for our global IT environment. Based in Melbourne, you will be the technical guardian of our infrastructure, identity, and security landscape, supporting our offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and our global remote workforce.
You will work closely with the IT Infrastructure and Security Manager to strengthen our security posture, maintain operational stability, and continuously improve how we design, secure, and manage our environment.
What You'll Do
Identity & Access Management (IDAM)
- Own and manage Okta, enforcing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and least-privilege access
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policies (GPOs), and secure directory services
- Maintain secure authentication flows between on-prem and cloud systems
Network & Infrastructure
- End-to-end management of multi-site network infrastructure across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane
- Optimise network performance (VLANs, routing, QoS, segmentation)
- Implement and maintain secure network segmentation
Security & Compliance
- Conduct vulnerability scanning aligned with PCI-DSS and ISO 27001
- Own remediation activities and maintain audit-ready evidence
- Monitor security alerts via SIEM and manage risk reporting
Server & Cloud
- Maintain Windows and Linux environments (physical and virtual)
- Manage Hyper-V / cloud compute environments
- Lead patching, hardening, and system maintenance
Endpoint & Technical Leadership
- Guide the Desktop Support team on endpoint security standards
- Define best practices for MDM and Endpoint Management
- Act as the go-to SME for complex technical issues
What You Bring
- Expertise in ManageEngine Endpoint Central (or similar UEM)
- Expert knowledge of Okta and Active Directory
- Hands-on experience with Ubiquiti (UniFi) or similar networking platforms
- Solid working knowledge of AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM)
- Experience working within PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 frameworks
