A growing Managed Services Provider based in Murrarie is seeking a technically strong
Level 2 IT Support Engineer
with a networking focus to join its expanding Managed Services team.
Originally operating within the UC space before evolving into a full-service MSP, this business now delivers end-to-end solutions across:
* Networking
* Security
* Infrastructure
* Microsoft 365
* Microsoft Azure Cloud
With 25 staff and strong partnerships including Cisco, Fortinet, Peplink, Microsoft and Telstra, the organisation supports small to medium businesses across industries such as gas, freight and transport. This is a growth hire driven by increasing demand.
The Role
This is a networking-heavy Level 2 position combining operational support and project delivery. You will work across customer environments implementing, optimising and supporting infrastructure solutions. You will also assist across Microsoft 365 workloads during quieter networking periods.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 2 escalation support across networking and systems
* Configure and support Cisco networking environments
* Deploy and manage FortiGate, FortiSwitch and FortiManager solutions
* Assist with networking project delivery across customer sites
* Support Microsoft 365 environments when required
* Troubleshoot, optimise and document customer environments
* Collaborate with internal engineers and client stakeholders
Core Technical Requirements
* 2+ years' experience within IT Support, ideally in an MSP
* Strong hands-on Cisco networking experience
* Proven experience across the Fortinet stack (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiManager)
* Exposure to Peplink highly advantageous
* Experience supporting project-based implementations
* Solid customer-facing communication skills
Ideal Profile
* Solid understanding of the Office 365 stack including: Intune, Microsoft 365, Enta ID, Active Directory etc...
* Ambitious and keen to grow toward leadership (Service Desk Manager pathway)
* Exposure to mentoring or informal leadership
* L3 capability advantageous (if commercially viable)
