About the role

We are offering a permanent part-time role of Location Manager in the Redress Support Service team at our Corporate Office in West Leederville.

The Location Manager provides operational, clinical and people leadership for a specialised trauma-informed service supporting individuals impacted by institutional abuse and related experiences. The role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality counselling, case management and client support services, ensuring practice standards, client wellbeing and service responsiveness remain at the centre of operations.

Working within a multidisciplinary environment, the Location Manager leads and supports a team of clinical and administrative staff, promotes a culture of professionalism and collaboration, and contributes to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the service. The role also maintains key stakeholder relationships and supports service coordination across the wider community and sector.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the Redress Support Service location, including clinical oversight, operational management, workforce supervision, service delivery, stakeholder engagement and program administration.

The Location Manager works closely with internal teams, community organisations and representative bodies to ensure the service remains responsive to client needs, aligned with best practice and compliant with organisational and funding requirements.

The current vacancy is 7.5 hours per day/4 days per week.

Skills, experience, and qualifications

* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Social Sciences
* A strong background in counselling/case management and clinical supervision
* Management experience, including management of staff
* Knowledge and skills in working with people in crisis, and in managing people with challenging behaviours
* Understanding of and experience in working with trauma and complex issues
* Ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and education levels
* Understanding of and experience in working with Forgotten Australians, Former Child Migrants and people who have experienced abuse in institutional care.
* Knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding family reconnection and reunification.
* Flexibility to work alternate hours and days as required.
* A current National Police Certificate incorporating criminal and traffic convictions and infringements is required.
