The qualification on completion would be a Certificate III Engineering Light Fabrication. The successful applicant will be punctual and reliable, be willing to learn and apply new techniques, learn new systems, and above all, be a team player. About the candidate: To be considered for the apprenticeship you need no experience but must have the following attributes: 2 nd or 3 rd year apprenticeship. Good communication, and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and take instructions from qualified tradesmen Trade level mathematics skills (year 10 minimum) Genuine interest in beginning a career in metal fabrication Process of completing or completed prevocational course in metal fabrication (encouraged to apply) Metalwork (or similar) subject completion (year 10 minimum) Demonstrated IT literacy Someone who takes pride in their work Motivated and eager to learn Reliable, honest, and trustworthy It would be beneficial to have a car licence but not essential Benefits Rewards and Recognition Program Training and ongoing support Employee Assistance Program incorporating services like Financial Counselling and Nutritional coaching.
