**The opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our collaborative, high-performing team in Melbourne.
You will provide exceptional support to the Legal Director for Health Services, Procurement, Property and M&A and the Head of Legal - Privacy & Regulatory.
You will be a trusted partner and be confident prioritising work effectively. This role will regularly work with senior personnel across Bupa (including Executive team members and other senior managers).
**How will I help?**
Key accountabilities include:
- Provide high level support to the Legal Director and Head of Legal and their team.
- Extensive calendar management including coordinating meetings, preparing background information, pre-read material, agendas and recording of action items.
- Prepare presentations, written reports, spreadsheets, documents, quality assess reports and prepare ad
- hoc reports as required.
- Provide timely and accurate preparation of tactical administrative support activities for the Director and Head of Legal and their team, including: invoice, expense and event management
- Ensuring the correct and safe filing of original Deeds, Agreements, letters of agreement etc. into the contracts storage system and update the database
- Assist with other support based on the Health Services, Procurement, Property, M&A and Privacy and Regulatory team requirements

**What do I need?**
- Previous experience in a similar Legal Assistant/Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant role
- Previous experience interacting with executive level management and senior external stakeholders
- Ability to use initiative and drive when managing multiple business support priorities
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams. Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
- Demonstrable attention to detail
- Experience in working in private health insurance and in-house legal environments highly desirable
