We are looking for a caring and reliable Respite Support Worker to provide short-term support to individuals, giving their primary carers a well-earned break.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will assist with daily living tasks such as personal care and medication prompts. You will also support clients to take part in social and recreational activities, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
You will build positive relationships, follow individual care plans, and maintain a safe and respectful environment. Monitoring and reporting any changes in a client's needs is also important.
Qualifications
This role requires compassion, patience, and strong communication skills. Previous experience is helpful but not essential. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends will be required.
