Job Overview
The Hotel Operations Coordinator is a key position responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
* Anticipate guests' needs and act on them whenever possible.
* Promote a positive working environment and ensure all tasks are performed efficiently.
* Operate the switchboard station and process requests from guests.
* Coordinate hotel operations during shift, including Front Desk, Communications, Concierge and Driveway.
* Process guest arrivals, departures, room assignments and changes.
* Secure payment, activate/reissue room keys and verify billing for guests.
* Communicate with staff when guests are waiting for an available room.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer, record and process all guest calls, requests, questions or concerns.
* Arrange transportation for guests/visitors.
* Count and secure the bank at beginning and end of shift.
* Cash-guests' checks, process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs and provide change.
* Notify Security of any reports of theft.

* FOLLOW HOTEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
* REPORT ACCIDENTS, INJURIES AND UNSAFE WORK CONDITIONS TO MANAGER.
* Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
* Protect hotel assets.
* Welcome and acknowledge guests according to hotel standards.
* Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
* Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
