This is an ongoing role situated within People Strategies Office. The People Strategies Office is responsible for providing efficient and effective human resources advice and services to support the Department of the House of Representatives.
About the role
As a Payroll Advisor / Senior Payroll Advisor, you'll be at the centre of delivering accurate, timely, and confidential payroll services for departmental staff and Members of Parliament.
This dynamic role offers the chance to Master complex payroll systems like Aurion and contribute to continuous improvement and provide expert advice on salary entitlements, employment conditions, and HR policies. You will collaborate across teams, liaising with stakeholders and supporting recruitment, learning and development, and people strategy initiatives. We are advertising this role as a broadband Parliamentary Services level 4/5 (PSL 4/5) as we are open to developing the right candidate into a PSL5 over time.
