About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineering Graduate, you will support the design, development, and continuous improvement of Humanihut products, working within the Technical Operations team. This role is ideal for a graduate who enjoys problem-solving, product development, and turning ideas into practical, real-world solutions.
You will provide engineering support to the Business Development and Planning teams by contributing to the early design and technical planning of customer projects. This includes assisting with concept development, evaluating design feasibility, and helping translate client requirements into practical engineering solutions, in addition to assisting the Engineering Officer with research and development activities.
This is not a purely theoretical role. You will work closely with various teams to ensure designs are practical, compliant, and fit for purpose. You'll be encouraged to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and contribute ideas under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Our work supports defence, emergency response, and humanitarian outcomes and what you design or improve will be used in real environments.
This role offers a supportive environment for a graduate engineer to develop practical skills, problem-solving capability, and a strong understanding of how engineering supports real-world manufacturing operations.
Full-time or part-time arrangements are available to accommodate study commitments.
This is a hands-on graduate role where you'll contribute directly to design and R&D activities, learning through real projects and practical testing under the guidance of experienced mentors committed to your development.
