The Opportunity The Compliance & Certification Manager is responsible for ensuring RSGx maintains all licences, certifications, accreditations, and regulatory approvals required to legally operate across all jurisdictions and sectors, where you'll provide centralised ownership of RSGx's "Right to Operate", including business licensing, ISO certifications, State and federal Certifications, defence and AUKUS-related compliance requirements, and nominee management. The position plays a critical role in protecting revenue, enabling project delivery, and ensuring audit readiness through the application of robust governance, assurance, and continuous improvement practices, including the following: Right to Operate & Compliance Management Manage RSGx's Right to Operate across all jurisdictions, maintaining licences, certifications, and nominees, ensuring compliance, tracking expiries, and reporting risks and renewals to leadership. Licensing & Certification - Oversee all business licences and regulatory requirements, leading applications, renewals, and variations across states, while managing key certifications with owners and nominees, including; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TfNSW TAO / AEO Accreditation, Federal Safety Accreditation (OFSC), and Client and industry prequalification schemes. Defence & AUKUS Readiness - Serve as the key contact for defence certification, managing compliance with Defence and AUKUS requirements, aligning processes to frameworks, and coordinating certification readiness for opportunities. Nominee Management - Manage all nominees and responsible persons, ensuring competency, coverage, and compliance, identifying and mitigating risks, and overseeing quarterly compliance meetings. Audit & Assurance - Work with the Quality team on internal and external audits, act as a Lead Auditor, support project compliance reviews, and ensure timely close-out of findings and non-conformances. Project & Business Support - Support tendering and project mobilisation by ensuring compliance, guide teams on licensing and certification, resolve issues, drive corrective actions, and proactively obtain new certifications and licenses. Systems, Reporting & Improvement - Develop and maintain compliance dashboards, implement proactive alerts for renewals and risks, and drive continuous improvement in compliance and assurance processes. Training & Awareness - Provide training and guidance on licensing, certification, and audits, while building awareness of 'Right to Operate' responsibilities across the business. About You You bring 7 years of experience in quality OR HSE, compliance, or regulatory management, with proven experience in defence and AUKUS-certified businesses. You have managed multi-jurisdictional licences, ISO-certified systems, and defence certifications, holding a Lead Auditor certificate and leading internal and external audits with confidence. With deep knowledge of construction, infrastructure, and utilities regulatory frameworks, you are skilled in compliance registers and systems, ensuring the business stays audit-ready and fully compliant.
