About Our School
St Mary's Cathedral College is a K-12 co-educational, dual campus College. As such, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced teacher with a strong academic background to join our highly successful HSIE Faculty.
About You
This is a temporary maternity leave cover (0.4 FTE job share), commencing in Week 9 of Term 1, 2026, and continuing through to the end of 2026.
The successful applicant will:
* demonstrate exemplary classroom practice and experience in teaching Stages 4 & 5 HSIE
* have the ability to teach Stage 6 Business Studies (essential)
* show highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
* use of creative and innovative teaching practice to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity and academic rigour
* exhibit knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to integrate these into a wide range of curriculum applications
* have excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills
* be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively
* show an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College
* have a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
