Asset Integrity Management Services is part of the Industry Services Global Business Line, and it includes NDT, Materials Testing, Specialist Services, Failure Analysis, Welding Services and NDT Training and Consulting.
About the Role
Intertek is currently seeking qualified manual machinists to machine test pieces in a fast-paced workshop environment. The role requires a strong emphasis on safety, quality, accuracy, and adherence to established processes, along with an exceptional work ethic and the ability to complete tasks within required timeframes.
This position is ideally suited to a process-driven, self-managed technician who takes pride in maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Skills and Experience
Essential Requirements
* Strong commitment to OHS&E policies and procedures
* Relevant Trade Qualification
* Competent operation of centre lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders
* 3rd and 4th year apprentices are encouraged to apply
* Ability to interpret drawings and standards and machine components accordingly
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Police Clearance
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Some CNC machining experience (not essential; training provided for the right candidate)
* Forklift licence
* Demonstrated teamwork and performance in collaborative environments
