About Us:
Shuang Ling Pty Ltd is a building subcontractor operating within the construction industry, specialising in plasterboard and internal fit-out works. Our core services include the supply and installation of wall and ceiling framing and plasterboard in accordance with construction drawings and project specifications.
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee and coordinate the company's administrative, financial, and operational support functions. This is a key role supporting management and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, coordinate, and manage the company's office administration systems to support efficient day-to-day operations.
· Act as the central administrative and operational coordination point between management, estimating, tendering, and site teams, ensuring effective communication and workflow support.
· Manage office resources, equipment, and administrative systems to ensure the office environment effectively supports operational and project delivery needs.
· Manage human resources administration, including employee records, onboarding and offboarding processes, leave records, and employment documentation in compliance with Fair Work requirements.
· Assist and support the in-house accountant by coordinating administrative and compliance-related information, including timesheets, employment records, and supporting documentation.
· Ensure office systems, procedures, and administrative processes comply with applicable legislation, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies.
· Liaise with external professionals such as insurers, consultants, and service providers to coordinate administrative and compliance matters.
· Monitor administrative workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Skills:
· At least one year's work experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative management role.
· Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting or job management software
· Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independently.
