As we continue to make a meaningful impact as Arise Allied Health, we are now extending our services through Arise Community Support Services. We are looking for passionate and committed Support Workers / Mentors to join our growing team across Adelaide. This is a casual role for the first 6 months, with potential for ongoing work based on performance.
About the Role
As a Support Worker/Mentor, you'll empower people living with disabilities to achieve their goals, increase independence, and participate in the community. You'll provide tailored support in home and community settings, guided by person-centred practices.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after individuals who are:
- Compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communicators who genuinely care about supporting others
To be successful, you’ll need:
✅ A minimum Certificate III in Disability
OR current study in an Allied Health degree (e.g., OT, Physio, Social Work)
✅ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
✅ Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
✅ COVID-19 vaccination as per government requirements
✅ Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
✅ Medication Training
