Position
Seeking Consultant Anaesthetists to join our enthusiastic team of medical professionals at this Hospital. The Anaesthesia and Pain Service is seeking to appoint suitably experienced Consultant Anaesthetists who will enjoy a rewarding career through their contribution to a large regional tertiary referral hospital and operations of eleven (11) operating theatres catering for all major types of adult and paediatric surgery within the region. Candidates must have extensive knowledge and demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a specialist anaesthetist and proven ability to develop and maintain effective service interactions required in the operation of a busy anaesthetic service.
In this role, you will provide specialist anaesthetic services, including appropriate pre and post-operative care, within credentialed privileges to patients of this hospital. As Consultant Anaesthetist you will be required to provide professional leadership, training and supervision to doctors in training, other clinical staff and medical students.
The Department
The Anaesthetic Department is accredited by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) as a training site for anaesthetic trainees for up to 12 months of training time who wish to become Fellows of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).
