HR Business Partner

About the Opportunity: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and values-driven Human Resources Business Partner to join a purpose-led organisation making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities. This role will play a critical part in supporting the strategic direction of the People Experience (HR) function, partnering with leaders and teams to drive employee engagement, organisational culture, and business performance. Reporting to the Head of People Experience, you will act as a trusted advisor across a wide range of HR initiatives, ensuring best practice in compliance, employee relations, workforce planning, and capability development. An organisation experiencing rapid growth in the workforce and operational capacity.

Focus:

- Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead and support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives
- Champion employee engagement through initiatives, feedback loops, and action planning
- Support cultural transformation and organisational change programs
- Guide and coach leaders through performance development processes, including goal setting and capability building
- Oversee key people processes such as probation, performance reviews, and annual salary reviews
- Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters, including investigations and grievance resolution
- Ensure compliance with relevant awards, legislation (including SCHADS and Nurses Awards), and internal policies
- Act as the organisation\'s Claims Administrator and Return to Work Coordinator
- Utilise HR data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to the development and review of people policies and procedures
- Promote awareness and adoption of the People Experience Manual of Policies and Procedures across the organisation

What You\'ll Bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years\' experience in a HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role
- In-depth knowledge of Australian employment law, industrial relations, and HR best practice
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience using HRIS platforms (Employment Hero) and interpreting people data to inform decision-making
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities, with a cooperative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high attention to detail
- Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and ethical conduct
- Ideally seeking postgraduate qualifications or certifications in coaching, mediation, or related fields
- Ideally seeking experience working within the disability, health, or aged care sectors
- Ideally seeking experience supporting or leading internal investigations or reviews
