Personal Care Assistant Opportunities
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care to our clients in the Canberra South area.
Job Description:
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their homes. This includes assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
* Preparing meals and snacks for clients
* Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry
* Transporting clients to appointments and activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A Cert III qualification in Aged Care or a related field
* At least 6 months experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
