About this role: We are seeking a compassionate and confident leader to lead our aged care team. The successful candidate will be skilled in building and managing high-performing teams, leveraging technology, and fostering strong communication across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure care delivery aligns with approved models and is tailored to individual residents' needs.
* Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Build and nurture relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, acting on feedback effectively.
* Lead, mentor, and inspire a productive and motivated team.
* Develop, allocate, and monitor budgets in collaboration with corporate services.
* Manage rosters, income, and expenses within budgetary guidelines.
* Oversee change management and support transitions within your areas of responsibility.
* Actively participate in risk assessment, hazard management, and fire safety programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualification in Business, Leadership, or Clinical fields, with current registration (if applicable).
* Full Driver's License
* In-depth knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Proven leadership and people management experience with a focus on driving positive change.
* Experience in business and financial planning, including implementation and evaluation.
* Proficiency in information management systems for reporting and decision-making.
* Strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
* National Criminal History Check and statutory declaration regarding criminal convictions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.
* Satisfactory completion of Key Personnel Checks, including Bankruptcy and Police Clearance.
