We are celebrated for our cuisine, array of signature cocktails and wines, and a vibrant atmosphere, from dinner to dancing. Our menu's combines local, seasonal ingredients with inventive cooking, delivering a fantastic dining experience for guests.

The Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality dining, a creative flair, and a commitment to maintaining the standards of Casa Luna. You will work closely within a team to develop and execute our menu and ensure kitchen operations run smoothly

Key Responsibilities:

* Overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
* Leading the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence.
* Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
* Training and mentoring junior chefs and kitchen staff.
* Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
* Ensuring all dishes are prepared to perfection and delivered on time.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a mid to high calibre restaurant.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Creative and passionate about food.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Experience:

* Kitchen: 5 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

* Food Safety Supervisors Certificate (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

* Australia (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
