Job Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for a Sales/Service Advisor to join our team in Rockhampton Qld.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to sales team members.
* Handle customers' requirements for service and repair in an efficient and courteous manner.
* Follow up with customers to maintain relations and work on building the volume of work within the workshop.
* Assist the sales team with quoting tasks.
* Liaise with suppliers, order parts for jobs and manage inbound parts.
* Manage the company's booking system.
* Create invoices within the company's invoicing system.
* Input data into the company's customer database.
* Answer phones and make outgoing calls.
* Assist the sales team at various yearly 4x4 events.
* Miscellaneous tasks including maintaining the showroom and stock.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Computer skills for data entry (automation program experience beneficial, although not required).
* Experience in the mechanical industry is beneficial.
* Data entry and administration skills preferred.
* Excellent phone and customer service skills.
* Minimum of 6 months customer service experience required.
* Positive attitude, great team player with a strong work ethic.
* Australian work rights required.
Working Conditions:
The role is Monday to Friday, with flexibility for weekend work, occasional Saturday morning and 4x4 events that we attend annually.
Reporting directly to the Owner/Director, the successful candidate will be highly organized and effective team member with strong attention to detail to ensure customer service standards are met.
Additional Information:
Previous employment within the 4x4 automotive or suspension industry in a similar role would be desirable, although we are willing to train if necessary.
