Our Treasury Automation team sits within the Digital, Data, Design & Engineering (D3E) division and plays a vital role in supporting key Treasury functions such as Funding, Liquidity, Interest Rate Risk Management, Capital, Provisioning, and Risk Modelling. By collaborating closely with colleagues across Product, Credit, Data and Technology Platforms, and Regulatory Reporting, we optimise business opportunities while maintaining clearly understood and acceptable risk parameters.

What role will you play?
As a Data Scientist and Data Engineer, you will play a key role in leveraging data and automation (including AI) to drive models and solutions. Your work will inform and influence key decisions,
enhance data-driven decision-making, and improve processes across the team. You will have the opportunity to implement new models, explore ways to improve data quality, and share knowledge to embed best practices within the organisation.
What you offer
* 2+ years of experience as an engineer or data scientist in an agile, DevOps environment
* A strong educational background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Strong programming experience in Python or similar languages
* Expert in authoring complex SQL, with proven ability in tuning and optimisation
* Experience with Git version control systems (e.g., bitbucket, github, gitlab)
* Experience with big data and cloud platforms is highly regarded.
