How will I help?
This is a key 2nd Line role responsible for supporting credit stress testing execution for the annual Group and Industry Stress Testing. This role collaborates with the Executive Manager Stress Testing Risk and Data and their team to:
* Support credit stress testing execution
* Provide SME knowledge
* Undertake portfolio deep dives
* Improve current processes
Key Accountabilities include:
* Support development of Stress Testing cycles and ad hoc requests
* Lead calculation of stress test results focusing on credit outputs
* Review data collected
* Review stress testing methodology for credit
* Ensure timely and accurate results
* Create clear reports of Stress Test Results
* Interpret sensitivity analysis results and communicate to stakeholders
* Support Senior Management as needed
* Drive continuous improvement in stress testing processes
* Deliver insights on stress testing results for key portfolios and industries

What do I need?
The ideal candidate has an applied degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics, with experience using SAS, R, Python, and Power BI. Requirements include:
* Deep knowledge of credit modeling and IFRS9 provisioning
* Understanding of financial markets and reporting
* 2-4 years’ experience in banking or financial services
* 3 years coding in SAS/SQL; knowledge of R/Python is a plus
* Knowledge of climate risk stress testing is advantageous
* Ability to code in SAS and understand other quantitative languages
* Excellent stakeholder communication skills
