A Western Australia company and servicing the mining industry nationwide and internationally, Relines Australia is a trusted provider of specialist mill relining services.

**About the role**

Reporting to the General Manager, the Superintendent is responsible for the planning and successful execution of delegated works. Ensures that works are completed safely, on schedule and to the required quality and client requirements. Works within the requirements of budget estimates in terms of labour and materials. Responsible for day-to-day liaison with clients on site.

**Accountabilities include**:
Quality
- Identifies quality requirements and ensures these are well understood by Supervisors and all team members. Ensures completed work meets client and company quality requirements.
- Works with Supervisors to maintain effectiveness of the company management system (quality) and identify opportunities to improve processes and performance.
- Creates a team culture for change and improvement, removes roadblocks.
- Identify & promote opportunities to improve processes.
- Conduct visual inspections of work to ensure it meets standard.

Financial Performance
- Ensures efficient use of Labour resources and materials to complete the project within budget estimates.
- Actively encourages Supervisors to adopt efficient and cost-effective work practices.

Business Development
- Actively promotes Relines Australia to new and existing clients.
- Prepares estimates in accordance with company procedures and in consultation with the General Manager.
- Contributes to tender assessment, preparation of documentation and estimates for new works.
- Looks for business opportunities and ways to build on customer relationships.

**Responsibilities**

Safety, Health and Environment
- Ensures Supervisors & all personnel fully understand and comply with all HSE requirements including the Safety Management Plan, the HSE Plan and all relevant policies and procedures.
- Is proactive in identifying hazards, developing safety procedures, and encouraging continuous improvement.
- Drives safety as a way of working by teams and individuals. Knows what is needed for confidence in safety performance and does it.
- Allocates Labour resources to optimize productivity.
- Ensures continuous attention and adherence to the health and safety policies as well as management system requirements.
- Ensures work is completed on schedule in accordance with the required quality and client specifications.
- Preparation of tenders and estimates.
- Ensures a high level of productivity within the work groups.

Vehicles/Equipment/PPE
- Ensure all personnel use reline equipment safely.
- Ensure all personnel wear relevant PPE.

People and Teams Training
- Coordinates allocation of workforce and supervision to ensure efficiency.
- Supervises, coaches and mentors' direct reports. Has the ability to build and manage performance of teams and individuals.
- Provide information, on the job instructions and coaching to enable employees to undertake tasks.
- Ensures that the workforce have the necessary competencies to undertake assigned tasks. Identifies training needs and organises training in conjunction with the team.
- Reviews performance and manages any performance issues as per company procedures.
- Maintains a high level of communication and cooperative working relationships.
- Is proactive in resolving any workforce issues or concerns.
- Communicates with clients on a day-to-day basis to plan work, keep them informed of progress, resolve issues, and identify variations/additional works required.
- Values and builds strong relationships with clients.
- Ensures total customer satisfaction on work sites.
- Plan, organize and coordinate operations. Handle multiple tasks and demands, remain calm and controlled under pressure.

Operational Performance
- Coordinate, assist & direct work groups with the safe removal of mill relining components.
- Oversees all business functionality regarding HSE, training, human resources, and finance.
- Plans and schedules work and Labour requirements in consultation with the General Manager to meet contract time commitments and maximise resource utilisation.
- Allocates work and provides direction to Supervisors on specific requirements.
- Read and understand charts and drawings.
- Carry out checks on all work fronts to ensure all tasks have been completed correctly.
- Liaises with suppliers to organise plant and equipment.
- Organises and directs the work of subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.
- Monitors progress against work schedule and ensures General Manager is informed of any issues that may impact on the schedule, budget, or any area of the project/operation.
- Has ongoing communication with the Supervisors regarding projects and any issues that may impact the schedule, budget, or any area of the project/operation.
- Diagnose & solve complex-work related issues when required.

**About you**
- Minimum of 10 years' expe
