Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Retail Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise staff during shifts, ensuring customers receive prompt service and high-quality food
* Support and train team members on food preparation, takeaway service, and handling customer enquiries
* Manage staff schedules, allocate duties, and monitor performance
* Resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service, or orders
* Assist with ordering fresh seafood, taking stock of ingredients, and ensuring products are properly displayed and priced
* Monitor hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards to ensure compliance
* Provide guidance to staff on handling busy periods, complex orders, and customer service challenges
* Support management in evaluating staff performance and fostering a positive team culture
Essential Requirements
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Retail Management, Hospitality, or a related field
* Experience in fish & chips or fast-food retail
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a retail or hospitality environment
* Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume takeaway environment
* Knowledge of food safety and retail operations
* Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
