The role is execution‐focused, providing analytical, documentation and coordination support across product reviews, product development initiatives and product appetite frameworks.### Working closely with the AVP, Underwriting & Claims Solutions, this role will help translate strategy and risk appetite into practical product outcomes, ensuring documentation, analysis and stakeholder inputs are robust, timely and well‐articulated.## **Duties**### Responsible for the ongoing review of product terms for existing treaties and the wider life insurance market. This includes regular benchmarking, assessing of future product trends and reporting on key market changes in the product space. **20%**Responsible for product development for both the Group and Retail risk. This includes engaging with clients and leading the design and specification of new products. **25%**Developing product appetite frameworks, in line with risk appetite -for use in future tenders, and other documents to improve product sustainability. **35%**Produce professional reports with clear documentation of thought processes and a concise executive summary that captures key business and technical considerations.**15%**Support the Head of UWC Solutions, and Client Solutions in building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and promoting the Pacific Life Re brand. **5%****Key Skills & Experience*** Experience in **life insurance or reinsurance product management**, underwriting, claims or adjacent roles* Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complexity into clear written outputs* Experience supporting **product reviews, product development or product governance activities*** Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities* Strong written communication skills, particularly for executive‐level documentation* Familiarity with **TPD, IP and life risk products in the Australian market** is required**Working For Pacific Life Re**Every person in our global team is valued for the unique qualities they bring to our business and we seek to build their expertise and support their individual ambitions at every step.
