About Bama Services
Bama Services is a leading Indigenous-owned construction, landscaping, and facilities management business based in Cairns. We deliver high-quality projects for government, commercial, and community clients across Cape York and Far North Queensland. Our greatest strength is our people—proudly employing and developing local Indigenous talent to build strong futures and thriving communities.

About the Role
As a Mentor, you will play a central role in the wellbeing, development, and success of Bama's team members. You'll deliver mentoring support, assist with training and onboarding, and provide advice and referrals in collaboration with supervisors and external service providers.

You will:

* Deliver and review the Support and Wellbeing Program (SWP) across Bama sites.
* Mentor employees to overcome challenges and achieve personal and career goals.
* Support new staff with inductions, onboarding, and completing paperwork.
* Conduct regular site visits and one-on-one mentor sessions.
* Provide admin support to the Operations Manager and Supervisors.
* Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate support services.

About You
You are a motivated and empathetic mentor who:

* Has relevant qualifications and/or experience in mentoring or wellbeing roles.
* Understands the challenges and aspirations of Indigenous employees.
* Communicates effectively with individuals and stakeholders at all levels.
* Is organised, proactive, and confident working independently and as part of a team.
* Has strong time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Can build trusted relationships and uphold confidentiality.
* Current Driver's Licence and White Card (CPCWHS1001).
* Ability to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card and Police Check.
* Experience in mentoring, training delivery, or case management.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

What We Offer

* Competitive salary with generous salary packaging to increase your take-home pay.
* The opportunity to work with a passionate Indigenous team on meaningful community-focused projects.
* A supportive, respectful, and inclusive workplace that values culture and wellbeing.
* The chance to help shape lives, careers, and communities across Cape York.
