About the Role
The Sales & BOQ Estimator plays a key role within the Estimating team, responsible for developing and maintaining master Bills of Quantities (BOQs), preparing sales and tender pricing, and ensuring cost accuracy across residential construction projects.
This role works closely with sales, estimating, drafting, construction teams, consultants, and suppliers to support timely and accurate delivery of estimates, pricing files, and project variations, directly contributing to business profitability
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop master BOQs for residential products, ensuring pricing accuracy and alignment with company methodologies.
* Manage Clickhome configurations, including house types, inclusion options, and variation templates.
* Prepare and deliver detailed, accurate, and timely sales tenders for residential projects.
* Coordinate the creation and update of standard and non-standard inclusion options and variation pricing.
* Review plans, specifications, and engineering to ensure BOQs and tenders align with contract scope.
* Uphold data integrity across supplier pricing, BOQs, and Clickhome databases.
* Provide timely support to the sales team for pricing queries and Clickhome configurations.
* Conduct cost analysis of products and ETO trends to inform BOQ allowances and pricing adjustments.
* Support value engineering and continuous improvement through material and labour cost reviews.
* Ensure consistency and accuracy of all pricing documentation, including variation price books and quarterly design reviews.
About You
* Experience maintaining and developing master BOQs with accurate pricing for residential projects
* Experience with custom homes or Medium density projects
* Skilled in Clickhome configurations, including house types, inclusions, and variation templates (Ideal)
* Ability to prepare and deliver detailed, timely sales tenders and pricing documentation
* Strong attention to detail with experience reviewing plans, specifications, and ensuring alignment with contract scope
* Analytical and process-focused, with experience in cost analysis, value engineering, and maintaining data integrity
