We are seeking a full time Carpenter who will be able to work independently or as a part of a team, reliable and will be rewarded with a great salary also a friendly and supportive work environment.
The Role
You will be the responsible for all aspects of carpentry on site, including, framing, skirting, joinery, forming and general repairs/maintenance.
Your daily responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand and all material and construction requirements.
* Determine all materials needed for each job.
* Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
* Cut and shape building materials (e.g. fiberglass and steel) according to measurements
* Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
* Lay out floorings, roofing or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible.
* Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance.
* Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
* Assemble and fasten various materials to erect framework.
* Install structures and fixtures.
Requirements/Skills Qualification:
* Relevant Qualification
* At least 1 year of relevant experience
* Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools;
* Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities;
* Able to work efficiently with and without supervision;
* Well versed in maintenance, cleaning and debris removal tasks
