THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking an Associate Territory Manager - Orthopaedics to support the growth of their leading orthopaedic portfolio across Auckland South to Hamilton. This hands‐on role will see you working closely with surgeons, providing in‐theatre support, and assisting with major product launches. You will gain practical experience across a diverse product portfolio, learn the fundamentals of territory management, and contribute to driving clinical excellence and commercial outcomes.

This is a high‐visibility, fast‐paced role in a supportive and high‐performing team, offering a structured pathway to become a fully‐fledged Territory Manager with responsibility for sales targets and territory ownership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Take ownership of a high‐value Orthopaedics territory across key Melbourne hospital accounts
* Provide operating theatre support to orthopaedic surgeons, assisting with procedures and product preparation
* Drive sales performance and consistently achieve quota
* Support Territory Managers with territory planning, business development, and account management
* Build strong, professional relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, and hospital stakeholders.
* Develop clinical and technical expertise across the orthopaedic product portfolio
* Assist with product launches, training, and education sessions
* Travel across the territory as required to support customers and the team

ABOUT YOU:

* You have a strong clinical background, ideally as a Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, Osteopath, Exercise Physiologist, Doctor, Podiatrist, Paramedic, Theatre Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Sports Scientist, or similar and bring a commercial mindset or entrepreneurial approach.
* Sales professionals from other industries with strong clinical knowledge and the aptitude to confidently engage with surgeons and support procedures in theatre are welcome to apply.
* Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to quickly apply technical knowledge in a surgical setting.
* Competitive, goal‐oriented and self‐motivated – whether that's growing your own client base, exceeding KPIs, or striving to be the best in your field.
* Confident communicator, capable of influencing decisions, handling challenging conversations, and delivering results in high‐pressure environments.
* Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities and building relationships.
* Thrive in fast‐paced, team‐focused environments and enjoy contributing to a high‐performing culture.
