Key responsibilities include:Administering and enhancing the Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas, to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.Designing engaging course content and digital resources using instructional design principles.Delivering training sessions for staff on platforms such as MS Teams, OneDrive, Excel, and the LMS.Supporting teachers in transforming static resources into interactive blended learning materials.Collaborating with educators to integrate new technologies into teaching practices.Leading induction programs for staff and students on digital systems.Conducting data analysis of digital system usage to drive improvements in learning outcomes.This role is responsible for promoting effective learning through contemporary pedagogical practices using new technologies.
The position involves administering the Learning Management System (LMS), reviewing content, introducing instructional design elements and templates, promoting relevant school-based projects, and delivering training to staff on various digital platforms (MS Teams, OneDrive, Excel, LMS).About youThe successful applicant will have:Minimum two years' experience in instructional design: Proven ability to create engaging, interactive digital learning content tailored to K-12 education.Strong LMS administration skills: Experience managing platforms such as Canvas, including course creation, user support, and troubleshooting.Excellent communication skills: Ability to deliver training, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and provide ongoing support to staff, students, and parents.Technical proficiency: Familiarity with eLearning tools and multimedia software to enhance digital learning experiences.Organisational skills: Strong project management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines in a dynamic educational setting.Commitment to innovation: A proactive approach to researching and integrating emerging technologies into teaching practices.Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools quickly and apply them effectively in an educational context.Problem-solving abilities: A creative mindset for addressing challenges in digital learning environments.Australian permanent residency or citizenshipRelevant qualifications and certificationsWhat we offerWe offer an excellent work environment within a leading and innovative education environment.
