Sales Travel Consultant – Responsibilities
* Work full-time, on-site in one of our retail stores on a rotating roster across a 7‐day trade.
* Plan itineraries, book travel and convert enquiries into bookings in person, over the phone and via email for our customers.
* Work towards individual KPIs and sales targets by selling the whole holiday, including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises, transfers and more.
* Build a customer base of new and returning customers, ranging from regular domestic bookings to lavish international holidays.
* Assist customers with travel‐related questions such as visas, best time of year to travel, packing tips, dining recommendations, and more.
* Earn a base wage plus an uncapped incentive payment structure, where you receive a percentage of every sale. Your pay is completely uncapped.
Required Qualifications
* Seasoned traveller with a history of international destinations and a reputation as a go‐to source for travel recommendations.
* Excellent organisational skills – able to manage a calendar, take notes, and respond promptly to customer phone calls and emails.
* Determination to meet sales targets and KPIs while managing workload in a high‐pressure environment.
* Enthusiasm, passion and a warm personality that encourages customers to book with you.
* Computer savviness, ready to toggle between complex systems to find the right flight and package options for customers.
