WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a key member of our close-knit purchasing team, you'll manage multiple categories while supporting a high-volume FMCG production environment. Every day brings a new challenge as you balance supply continuity, cost optimisation, and supplier relationships to keep operations running smoothly.
In this role:
* You'll be analytical – Using your sharp attention to detail, you'll review data, forecasts and production schedules to optimise inventory levels, maintain continuity of supply, and manage cost implications across your categories.
* You'll be systems‐driven – Comfortable navigating ERP systems, you'll extract critical information, analyse trends and transform data into actionable insights that support decision‐making across the business.
* You'll be proactive – Thinking two steps ahead, you'll maintain ingredient availability to support a busy production environment, ensuring targets are met and downtime is avoided.
* You'll adapt to change – In a fast‐moving manufacturing setting, plans shift quickly. You'll stay calm, respond decisively, and help keep operations on track.
* You'll be a strong negotiator – Building trusted relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you'll secure value, support operational priorities, and contribute to long‐term business strategy.
