We will provide vital services, including patient services, environmental services, food, security, help desk, and more. THE POSITION
* Prepare and assist with cooking daily meals in a hospital kitchen environment.
* Follow set menus, portion guidelines, and dietary requirements.
* Support safe food handling, hygiene standards, and kitchen cleanliness.
* Work collaboratively with the catering team to deliver timely meal services.
THE PERSON
* Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
* Current certification, such as HACCP or Food Safety Supervisor, to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
* Specialised training in preparing therapeutic diets or texture-modified meals (desirable).
* Training in identifying and managing allergens in food preparation.
* Works well in a fast-paced, structured environment and stays calm under pressure.
* Brings a positive, team-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
