They are looking for a highly skilled and innovative chef to join their team.As a chef you will be responsible for Menu development reflecting both modern and traditional Asian gourmet culinary trendsAble to work harmoniously with front of house team to deliver exceptional meals, in line with service standards to guarantee customer satisfactionPreparation and production of food items for menu/s to ensure they meet the exceptional standards Maintains food preparation handling and correct storage standardsAdaptable to work across multiple kitchen outlets when rostered Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectivelyAdhere to strict health, hygiene and safety standards at all timesPlan and manage portion control Provide in kitchen training as requiredThe applicant must have the following key characteristicsWorks well in a team environmentCustomer focused and professionalOpen to learning and being adaptable Friendly and engaging personalityWorks well under pressureGood personal hygiene and presentationQualifications:• At least 2 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen, and be trade qualified to at least an AQF Certificate III standard or equivalent• The ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficientlySalary range $73,000-$76,000 per annum + superannuation.Only successful candidates will be contacted.
