The Role
We're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Implementations team. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple concurrent projects — from handover to delivery.
This is a true MSP project role where you'll balance technical depth, client engagement, and project leadership.
You'll have the autonomy to plan your own day around:
* Client meetings
* Project planning & delivery
* Technical execution and escalation support
What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver end-to-end IT projects using our core stack:
* Microsoft 365, Azure, Private Cloud, Sophos, Cisco, Xelion
* Deliver solutions and provide technical support
* Build and manage project plans, timelines, and resources
* Ensure smooth project handover into BAU support teams
* Act as the final escalation point for complex client issues
* Provide support via HaloPSA/NinjaOne
* Maintain accurate documentation in IT Glue
* Mentor and train support and project engineers
* Maintain and grow vendor certifications
What We're Looking For
Essential
* 5+ years' experience delivering projects in an MSP environment
* Proven experience managing multiple complex IT projects concurrently
* Strong experience with:
* Microsoft 365 & Azure migrations
* Identity & Endpoint (Intune, Conditional Access)
* Windows Server design & deployment
* Private & Public Cloud infrastructure
* Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN/VLAN/WiFi/DNS/DHCP)
* Experience with AV/XDR and Next-Gen Firewalls
* Strong documentation and communication skills
* Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* NSW driver's licence & own vehicle required
Desirable
* HaloPSA project experience
* Microsoft certifications (365 / Azure)
* Formal project management qualifications
* VoIP / Unified Communications experience
