**The Role**
They are currently seeking a Program Support Officer to join their team in Strawberry Hills. This is an estimated 4-6-month temporary assignment with the potential to extend.
As a trade specialist, you will be responsible for providing a range of functions required for the delivery of communities plus redevelopment sites across the state. The services provided include restoration of vacant sites with necessary alterations, site preparation for selling or demolishing, and management of security and maintenance services for these sites.
We are looking for a tradesperson wanting to take that next step or utilise their administrative capabilities to partner with NSW State Government.
**Responsibilities**
- End to end program support
- Track, monitor and report on project scope, status updates, budgets milestones and deliverables
- Effectively manage and maintain large databases and spreadsheets related to the vacant and social housing
- Liaise with key stakeholders and external contractors
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives mitigating risks
- Attend and actively participate in team discussions and training programs
- Navigate multiple different and manual systems simultaneously whilst ensuring data integrity across systems
- Ad-hoc operational/hands-on duties and responsibilities
**About You**
- Demonstrated Project, Program, Administration or Business Support experience
- Proven hands on trade background - Carpenter, Plumber, Electrician etc.
- Capital Works, Construction Administration or Government experience - _highly advantageous _
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
**Requirements**:
- Must hold a current drivers licence and a White Card
- Willingness to undergo National Police Check
- A valid Working With Children Check - _or ability to get one before your assignment starts_
- Two completed references
- Ability to commence the assignment and commit to the duration
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medical exemption
