We have built a reputation for providing high quality eye care for our patients.
We are a full scope Optometry Practice who specialize in Behavioural Optometry, Orthokeratology Contact Lenses, Dry Eye Treatments and Ocular Disease Management, and Neuro-visual Medicine.
We are currently offering an exciting opportunity to join our team in the role of receptionist / Optical Assistant in a part time or casual position up to 24 hours per week with the option of more hours during holidays and annual leave for team members.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is a part time position suitable for someone who is motivated and has a passion for helping others and is dedicated to providing top quality customer service.
- Provide frame styling and lens advice to our patients
- Enjoy a diverse role with direct customer contact
- General practice activities including bookings, administration duties, frame adjustments and repairs
- Available to work Saturdays

**Skills you've learnt and attributes you naturally have**:
- An interest in marketing and social media an advantage
- Willingness to learn and to improve your current skill set
- Great customer service skills including greeting and assisting patients
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Selling skills, the ability to spot customer needs and upselling
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and also independently
- Highly organised
- A warm and empathetic manner - this can go a long way in terms of making patients feel comfortable, optimistic and valued
- Problem solving skills
A background in optical/medical or retail/fashion would be an advantage but is not essential. What is important for this role is a passion for helping others, confidence in working with all age groups and good communication skills to work with our team.
