Located in Birkenhead, this full time position will work predominantly day shift with the ability to work shift work and overtime if required. Responsibilities Load and unload heavy vehicles adhering to “Chain of Responsibility” protocols. Liaising with our Sales department to minimise vehicle loading times and maximise efficiency. Operate and maintain Cement and Drymix bagging machinery, adhering to Safety, Quality and Production requirements. Load and unload materials and products to/from ships. Perform manual physical work on the plant including cleaning. What you will need to succeed Ambition. Be willing to learn new skills and engage positively with training. Hold a current MSIC permit (desirable) Be physically fit and comfortable when working in confined spaces Have basic computing skills Show initiative and succeed when troubleshooting and problem solving Demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team Previous fast paced manufacturing experience (desirable) A willingness to work shift work and overtime as required.
