We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team and lead a sales team in the AUNZ region.
The ideal candidate is a natural commercial leader with a consultative mindset, who thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
You will excel at strategic thinking, commercial execution, and coaching: strengthening the best team members while fostering teamwork.
You will be leading and coaching the sales managers based in Sydney while reporting to the Head of Sales for AUNZ.
As a critical member under this group, you will form the commercial strategy while collaborating with other regions and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and build the Sales team in Australia and own the end-to-end commercial success of your team.
* Collaborate on and drive the vision and strategy for the AUNZ sales team, creating local focus while aligning with global strategy.
* Engage with the largest strategic opportunities, leading executive relationships and helping the team navigate long sales cycles with complex fintech solutions to win new customers.
* Adopt and influence the sales methodology and Selling Process and drive best practices on selling and forecasting.
* Develop best practices that enable the organisation to more rapidly scale to deliver on revenue targets and support KPIs for growth.
Requirements:
* An inspirational leader with 3+ years working in Australia and demonstrated experience in leading senior individual contributors.
* Extensive direct sales hunter experience, specialising in serving multinational enterprise customers, ideally in Payments / FinTech / SaaS.
* Strong experience with sales forecasting and metrics, coaching and driving sales methodologies and processes.
* Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Businesses in the Australian market.
* Resilient and able to challenge and influence whilst remaining focused on growing a sustainable business.
* Able to structure and prioritise in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
* A team player that understands what drives sales individuals, and does not shy away from taking ownership or resolving conflicts.
