* As the Assistant Director of People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful and timely re-opening of our flagship location.

You will lead all recruitment efforts, manage the full recruitment cycle, from job postings, interviews, offer letters, through onboarding for all roles. You will partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and execute effective hiring strategies.

The recruitment process must be efficient, positive, and consistent with our practices. You will build and maintain strong relationships with talent sources to expand the reach of our talent pool and establish our reputation.

Manage candidate pipelines and oversee the scheduling and coordination of interviews for all levels. Support the development of onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring all departments are set up for success.

Help develop, implement, and manage policies, processes, and procedures for the People & Culture department. Assist in leading projects and contribute ideas to improve the overall team experience and hotel operations.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture department, ensuring the smooth functioning of all HR-related tasks.
">
Lead, mentor, and support the People & Culture Team Members by assigning responsibilities, providing guidance, and ensuring the team is aligned with the department's goals.
">
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and programs that align with both local regulations and company standards to guarantee compliance.
">
Monitor and ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures across the entire hotel, working closely with department heads and managers to resolve any compliance issues.
">
Act as a support resource to managers on employment-related matters and assist with team relations and performance management.

Requirements
">
">
* You have at least 4 years experience as a human resource manager; preferably in an luxury and lifestyle brand hotel.
">
">
Pre-opening hotel experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of compensation data strongly preferred. Ability to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation.
">
Ability to take ownership of issues, solve problems and make effective decisions. Great communication skills – both verbally and written – and a great listener. Fluent in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Natural leader who can motivate and inspire a team to achieve their best.

Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Knowledge of hospitality industry and its trends is highly desirable.
