Position
Payroll Officer – Contract (3 month term)
Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end payroll for a diverse workforce in accordance with relevant awards, agreements, and legislation.
Administer payroll using Micropay, ensuring a high level of accuracy and data integrity.
Maintain employee payroll records, including commencements, terminations, leave, and pay variations.
Respond to payroll-related enquiries, providing clear and professional customer service to employees and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with statutory obligations including superannuation, taxation, and reporting requirements.
Reconcile payroll reports and support regular and ad-hoc audits.
About You
Demonstrated experience in a Payroll Officer or similar role.
Proven hands-on experience using Micropay.
Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance requirements.
High level of attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume payroll environment.
