About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our regional supply chain strategy, overseeing supplier market analysis, contracting, and supplier management for multiple sites or business segments.
The successful candidate will lead a team of over 70 supply chain professionals, guiding them through business transformation and ensuring that business requirements are met by sourcing and selecting qualified suppliers and negotiating contracts on optimal terms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of over 70 supply chain professionals supporting manufacturing and mining operations across Western Australia, New South Wales, and Victoria.
* Guide the team through business transformation and organisation optimisation, leveraging new tools to drive process improvement, productivity, and efficiency.
* Ensure business requirements for materials, spares, and services are met by sourcing and selecting appropriately qualified suppliers and negotiating contracts on optimal price, quality, and service terms.
About You:
* Bachelor's degree in Management or Engineering; MBA preferred.
* Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a director-level leadership role.
* Demonstrated ability to lead a supply chain department within a global organization.
