Your role:
As a Technical Support Engineer (Specialist), your mission is to be the go-to expert for resolving technical issues, delivering onsite support and contributing to product and service enhancements, and you will also play a key role in training our field service teams in the field and in the classroom. You will report to the Technical Support Manager.
Responsibilities
* Technical Support and troubleshooting: Resolving hardware, software and network issues with a high first‑call resolution rate
* Remote & Onsite Support: Using remote tools and ticketing systems to manage support requests efficiently
* Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Creating internal guides and training of staff to improve support processes
* Hardware & Software Development: Installing and updating of systems across departments with minimal disruption
* Montioring & Reporting: Tracking of system performance and generating reports for management
* Customer Service & Communication: Mataining a high level of satisfaction, through clear, empathetic communication and effective problem solving
Qualifications
* Technical Expertise: Proven ability in mechanical servicing, machine programming, and electrical fault diagnosis. Experience with Atlas Copco products is highly regarded.
* Customer Focus: Skilled in building strong relationships and delivering positive outcomes, even in challenging situations.
* Calm Under Pressure: Demonstrates resilience and composure when navigating complex or prolonged problem‑solving scenarios.
* Training & Mentoring: Confident in coaching and supporting diverse teams to build capability and share knowledge.
* Travel Ready: Comfortable with regular national travel as an essential part of the role.

Location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on‑site at our Atlas Copco Branch in Seventeen Mile Rocks QLD, Australia.
