The Role
We're seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Administration Trainee to join our Newcastle office. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is perfect for someone looking to build on their administration experience and grow their career in finance/operations.
In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience across both Accounts Payable and Fleet Administration, helping to keep our business running smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
* Accounts Payable processing including invoice entry, coding and approvals
* Supplier statement reconciliations and handling queries
* Assisting with monthly reporting and reconciliations
* Maintaining and updating the Fleet/Asset Register
* Administration of fleet registrations and related compliance records
About You
* Minimum 12 months administration experience (essential)
* Strong computer literacy with solid skills in Microsoft Excel
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Positive, proactive attitude and a team mindset
* Industry experience in Waste Management, transport, logistics, or construction (highly regarded)
