Responsible for performing cycle counts and maintaining the accuracy integrity of the inventory in the Distribution Center. Responsible for managing and coordinating all reverse logistics processes, including returns, refurbishments, recalls, and disposition of products to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within the Distribution Center.
* Perform inventory Cycle Counts using LogisticsPro Software and Manhattan WMI, RF scanning and ancillary equipment.
* Research and take corrective actions on all inventory out of balance.
* Perform inventory moves using the forklift and scanners.
* Process and manage customer returns, vendor returns, and internal transfers using Manhattan WMi WMS, RF scanning, and ancillary equipment.
* Inspect returned products and determine appropriate disposition (restock, repair, refurbish, return to vendor, or disposal).
* Research discrepancies related to returned inventory and take corrective action to maintain inventory accuracy.
* Coordinate with warehouse, customer service, and vendors to resolve return-related issues.
* Maintain accurate records of all reverse logistics transactions and ensure proper system updates.
* Monitor return trends and provide feedback to improve processes and reduce return rates.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for returned goods, including hazardous materials if applicable.
* Assist with inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and reconciliation related to returned merchandise.
* Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanning equipment as needed to move returned inventory.
* Subject matter expert regarding inventory; transfers, adjustments, allocation, replenishment and picking issues for the specific shift assigned.
* Perform all other related duties as directed by the Traffic and Inventory Team Lead.
Minimum Qualifications
* Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Requires 1-2 years of prior experience in inventory in a warehouse environment.
* Prior experience in forklift operation and training required.
* Knowledge of NetSuite and WMi software highly preferred.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, NT Systems and general computer skills required.
* Must be detailed oriented and possess ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Must be able to interface with all levels of Meyer employees, as well as outside vendors.
* Must possess the mental and physical capabilities to perform the job duties.
* Must possess the desire to gain experience in logic and automated control systems.
Working Conditions
Work is performed primarily indoors, although some outdoor tasks are required. Lighting is artificial. Equipment used includes standard office equipment i.e. computer, telephone, copy and fax machine. Moving equipment i.e. forklift and electric scooter. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, climbing, pushing and pulling, lifting up to 75 lbs., repetitive use of both hands, driving forklifts and other equipment, being around other work equipment and machinery, and occasional bending over, reaching overhead, and walking on uneven ground. Hours are primarily Monday through Friday. Position requires close contact with Meyer employees.
$20.00/hr.
