About the Role 
We are seeking two (2) APS6 Data Analysts to join a Federal Government department on a 12-month contract. This role will support recruitment and workforce planning through high-quality data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
You will be responsible for delivering dashboards, benefits reports, and workforce forecasts that guide organisational decision-making. Working under limited direction, you will provide oversight across business analysis functions, manage stakeholder relationships, and contribute to organisational change and transition activities.
Key Responsibilities 
- Deliver high-quality data analysis and reporting, including dashboards, benefits reports, and data visualisations.
- Lead and support recruitment and workforce planning activities, including workforce modelling and FTE forecasting by role, time, place, and source.
- Undertake stakeholder engagement with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment with workforce design priorities.
- Provide leadership and oversight for business analysis functions, setting priorities and managing workflows.
- Apply data-driven and numerical methods to resolve complex issues, assess risks, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and change processes, supporting workforce transition and minimising resistance.
About You 
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst, ideally with a background in recruitment and workforce planning.
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflows.
- Proficiency with Power Query (highly desirable).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex issues.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Understanding of disability, health, allied health, or related sectors (desirable).
