Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Video Encoding Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Roku Cloud TV Platform Engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance video processing workflows.
* Create and optimize FFmpeg-based encoding pipelines for VOD and Live workflows in cloud environments.
* Develop and refine encoding presets for modern codecs, ensuring optimal quality-to-bitrate performance.
* Implement advanced encoding strategies such as multi-pass workflows, CRF tuning, per-title optimizations, and quality-targeted encoding.
