**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced and patient **Disability Driving Instructor** to provide specialist driving lessons to NDIS participants in and around **Ashburton**. This is a flexible, ongoing role ideal for an instructor who is calm under pressure and passionate about supporting people with diverse needs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver safe, supportive driving instruction tailored to participants' abilities and goals
- Support individuals with physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities
- Operate a purpose-built, modified vehicle suitable for disability driving instruction
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with the Beyond team and participant families
**About You**
You are calm, understanding, and professional, with a robust commitment to road safety and inclusion. You will have:
- Experience working with people with disability
- A current Driving Instructor Authority in Victoria
- A reliable, purpose-built vehicle fitted with dual controls for disability instruction (**mandatory**)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage challenging situations with patience and professionalism
**NDIS Compliance Requirements**
You will need the following (or be willing to obtain):
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training
- Police Check
- ABN (as this is a contractor role)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
