Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python
* Write clean, efficient, and well‐documented code following best practices
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and deliver features
* Build and integrate APIs, services, and third‐party systems
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance
* Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
* Ensure software quality through testing, automation, and CI/CD practices
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience developing software using Python
* Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
* Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
* Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration
* Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
* Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases
* Understanding of testing frameworks and methodologies
* Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable Skills
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Exposure to containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Experience with microservices architecture
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
* Knowledge of front‐end technologies (e.g. JavaScript frameworks)
* Experience working in Agile environments
